Noodler's Eel Cactus Fruit is a 3 oz bottle of lubricating ink, designed for smooth writing. This ink is part of the Eel series, known for its lubricating properties that can help keep pen mechanisms working smoothly.
My pen glides across the page almost effortlessly with this ink, and the 3 oz bottle is plenty for everyday use. The lubricating quality really does make a noticeable difference in how smoothly the nib moves.
The color is this gorgeous deep magenta that looks almost black in the bottle but dries to a vivid purple-red on the page. I've put it in three different pens and the flow stays wet and consistent with no hard starts, even after letting one sit overnight with the cap on.
The lubricating quality is the real deal—my piston filler glides like it’s got new seals, and the ink flows wet but dries fast enough for everyday notes. The 3 oz bottle is also a nice chunk of ink for the price, so I’m set for a while.
