The ink dries fast enough that I don’t smudge it with my left hand, and it holds its line even after a coffee spill on my notes. It feathers just a little on cheap copy paper, but on decent stock it's rock solid and waterproof. Great for archival work if you can forgive the slight bleed on bargain-b
